Party Animals Bait Guide
Every cast uses a bait, so the real question is which one. Each bait shifts your catch toward rarer fish and changes how fast they bite - the same effect on every species and every Cabin map. Bait never changes which fish you can catch, only its rarity.
It is a straight ladder: pricier bait wins on both rarity and bite speed. Honeycomb gives the best odds at Epic and Legendary catches and the fastest bites, while Cranberry is the worst - it floods you with Standard fish and bites slowest. For rare hunting, stick to Honeycomb or Mushroom.
Each cell shows what a bait does to your chance of that rarity: green raises it, red lowers it, and a dot means the bait leaves it alone. No bait rules a rarity out - even the worst pairing can still land it, just far more rarely. Columns run from Standard to Legendary. Bait changes only rarity and bite rate, never a fish's species, sell price, location, time of day or weather. The number next to each name is what one bait costs in Treats at the Tackle Shop.
